Media and Communications Masterclass with Prof JJ Tabane

The University of Botswana in conjunction with Sepapane Group of Companies will be hosting a masterclass lecture on Media and Communications with Prof Onkgopotse J.J. Tabane, School of Business Leadership, University of South Africa. The masterclass will be held in hybrid format on 28 November, 2022 at a venue at UB.
The masterclass will coach communications professionals, media practitioners and media students in advancing their capabilities in today’s increasingly global business environment. The lecture will amongst other things, explain how to identify key stakeholders, set up effective communications channels and effectively engage with them in times of crisis. It will concentrate on developing the skills needed to develop and sustain professional relationships and networks. Participants will get the opportunity to discover their talents and areas of improvement in this domain and practice and apply the theories learnt during the lecture in the workplace. A Certificate of Attendance will be issued after the masterclass.
About Prof JJ Tabane
Prof Onkgopotse Tabane is a Professor of Communications at the University of South Africa, an anchor on ENCA Television Station and a businessman. He obtained his PhD in Media Studies from Wits University. Throughout his career, he has completed leadership courses and held various positions as a board member. He is an author and his research and teachings fields include strategic communication and media relations.
